Certified Firearms Safety

All firearms training courses are taught by retired or current Law Enforcement Officers, Certified Law Enforcement and Civilian Firearms Trainers, and Supervised by Certified Range Safety Officers (WA-CJTC, OR-DPSST, NRA LE/Civilian),

All classes are held at Norpoint Training Center utilizing SIRT training pistols and rifles, as well as Airsoft Glock pistols, in our indoor non-live firing range. Live Fire Trainings will be conducted after evaluation and successful completion of Norpoint Training Center’s NRA Gun Safety Seminar and First Steps Pistol Orientation courses.

All civilian course instructors will issue NRA Firearms certifications upon successful completion.

DISQUALIFICATIONS
: Any individual convicted of any felony, any individual convicted of a misdemeanor involving violence such as assault, domestic assault, who’s firearms have been confiscated or is not allowed by law to own, possess, or use a firearm will not be allowed to take any firearms courses.

1-1 Live Fire Training Courses

Live fire training is conducted on a 1-1 basis for qualifying students.

All live fire training students are required to complete Norpoint Training Center’s Gun Safety & Pistol First Steps Course.
